I am not a professional advisor but I am someone who wasted 5 years of her life hiding behind ‘Depression’. I was young, beautiful and I used to be that student who is the naughtiest but gets the highest scores. When I started college, I had this major heartbreak because the “love of my Im a drop the f bomb kind of mom shirt” was cheating on me. Long story short, my grades started dropping. Which hurt my ego and I dropped out of college for 3 years. I was supposed to be a doctor, but that didn’t happen obviously. But I am still young and beautiful.

Now I am trying again this year in hope to improve my application, but I am suffering from the same experience. I am not able to fully dedicate myself to the grad application process due to a high workload that drains me completely by the end of work day. And when I am at work, I keep worrying about things I should do to improve my application this time around. I feel that if I want to give it my best shot this year at grad school, I have to do something differently, i.e., quit work. Still struggling with this option because although the time to prepare for an application is now, school will not start until next year in September. That’s a year of not working which doesn’t sit quite well with me at this time… but we’ll see.

I’d go further and just Im a drop the f bomb kind of mom shirt  ban ownership by non-citizens, the Nordics do it and I don’t see why we shouldn’t either.The typical counter argument is that those people will just use companies to buy property instead but imo that’s nonsense. It may be true for some individuals but the purpose of this rule isn’t to be a panacea, the majority of foreign buyers either won’t have the time or money to make a corp to buy a house. They’ll instead spend that time buying a house in Aus or somewhere else.

If there was actually a Im a drop the f bomb kind of mom shirt   supply of land, our housing situation would make sense. Even ignoring the fact we live in the second largest country by landmass, we still have an abundance of land in the temperate zone.We need to look at the roadblocks to housing construction in this country and deal with that if we can’t solve the income stagnation issue (we likely can’t being in such close proximity to the US and being so hamstrung by their economics).In the meantime, we need to curb foreign investment and more heavily disincentivize income properties, especially for corporations through taxation on a sliding scale. The more properties held by a person/corporate entity, the heavier the tax load.
